Founded in 1992 by Peter Maury, PARADISE ISLAND
CHARTERS is backed with years of practical fishing
experience. Peter first operated Hurricane Hole
Marina for 10 years and assured its success as it
climbed to one of the most highly regarded marinas
in the Caribbean. Peter is a true Bahamian, his
family, English loyalists came to the islands of
the Bahamas in the 1700's and settled in the Abacos.
After attending college in America he came home
to put what he had learned to practical use. Peter
never forgot his upbringing and knowledge of fishing
and the Bahama islands. Captain Peter became an
accomplished fishing angler, winning local tournaments.
With many of the world class Sportfish boats and
angler's that frequent the Bahamas Peter gained
experience from the best.
